Elder Gregory L. Frison
Gregory L. Frison, is the son of the late Elder Elisha Frison and Mrs. Louise Frison, and a native of Philadelphia, PA. He is a graduate of St. Augustine's College in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he received a B.A. in Music Education. He is also a graduate of Chestnut Hill College, in Philadelphia, PA, where he received a Master Degree in Elementary Education. Elder Gregory L. Frison was ordained in the Church of God in Christ by Bishop O.T. Jones, Jr. Prelate of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Jurisdiction in 1989.
From 1984 to 1988 he was employed by the Canton City School System in Canton, Ohio as an Instrumental Music Teacher. In 1988 he returned to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and joined the Holy Temple Church of God in Christ. In 1990 he was appointed Youth Leader of Holy Temple Church of God in Christ, a capacity in which he served for five years. In 1996 Bishop O. T. Jones, Jr. appointed him President of the State Youth Department of the Commonwealth of PA. Jurisdiction. In 1997 Superintendent J. Drew Sheard, President of the International Youth Department appointed Elder Frison Executive Secretary of the International Youth Department. In 2001 Bishop Benjamin Ravenel appointed Pastor Gregory L. Frison Chairman of the Auxiliaries in Ministry Convention. On August 23, 2001, the Bishop Benjamin J. Ravenel Sr. appointed Elder Gregory L. Frison pastor of the Garden of Prayer Church of God in Christ.
Most important, the greatest accomplishment in his life was allowing Jesus Christ to be his Lord and Savior. He is married to Ann M. Jenkins-Frison and they reside in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
